Edward Lin

Edward (Ed) Lin is a Vice President and Lead Engineer at Merchant. In this role, he is responsible for Merchant's end-to-end technology infrastructure, leading the design, analysis and implementation of the firm’s tech initiatives.

Prior to joining Merchant, Ed was a Vice President and Lead Data Engineer at JPMorgan Chase where he supported the Global Tech Chief Operating business in building out its reporting and data infrastructure capabilities. Before that, he held roles at Bank of New York Mellon supporting the Tech Management organization and at L3 Harris’ Space and Intelligence Systems division as a finance analyst.

Ed earned a B.S. in economics, finance and supply chain management from Rutgers University - New Brunswick. He is currently earning a Masters within Johns Hopkins University’s Engineering Professionals program with a concentration in AI.
