Glen Chesir

Glen is a Partner and member of the leadership team at Merchant, where he helps drive the firm’s corporate strategy, investment platform, and growth initiatives. He co-leads Merchant’s investment team and plays a key role in capital formation, strategic planning, and investment execution across the Merchant ecosystem. Glen is also a founding partner of Merchant Credit Partners, where he leads the development, structuring, and management of the firm’s credit investment strategies and products.

In addition to his role at Merchant, Glen is a Partner at GPS Investment Partners, a private investment partnership that invests across venture capital, private equity, and credit strategies. Glen has led investments for the firm across financial services and fintech, media and entertainment, asset management platforms, and alternative lending.

Glen serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Treville Capital Group, Spotter, and Wave Sports and Entertainment. He is also a Board Observer of Finny and a Senior Advisor and Venture Partner at Gallery Ventures.

Prior to joining Merchant, Glen was an analyst at Cedar Glade Capital, a boutique hedge fund specializing in distressed investments and litigation finance. He graduated cum laude from Brandeis University.
