Jon Geller

HEAD OF ENTERPRISE GROWTH STRATEGIES

Jon is responsible for the ongoing development and execution of Merchant’s various growth strategies.  This includes capital solutions, inorganic initiatives as it relates to advisor M&A, and the implementation of several business risk management and infrastructure solutions that Merchant is principally aligned with.

Prior to joining the leadership team at Merchant, Jon spent 30+ years in the financial services industry, primarily at Fidelity, where he gained expertise in the areas of RIA custody, brokerage operations, and retirement plan consulting. While at Fidelity, Jon was Vice President of Strategic Accounts at a national level. In that role, he was responsible for the Firm’s efforts across Fidelity’s largest strategic relationships in the RIA space. Over the last 10 years, Jon successfully closed and helped launch over 40 new RIAs, including many in excess of $1B in assets. Prior to Fidelity, Jon was Managing Director, Retirement Consulting Practice at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA). Prior to MMA, Jon held senior level business development roles at Fidelity and Barclays Global Investors. 

Jon lives in the Boston area and holds a MBA in Finance from Babson College.
