Kate McGann

Kate McGann is Head of Corporate Communications at Merchant, where she leads the firm’s communications, brand, corporate marketing and public relations efforts. In this role, she helps shape how Merchant articulates its strategy and long-term vision to key audiences, including investors, partner firms and the media. She is also focused on supporting Merchant’s partner firms in their communications initiatives. 

Kate joined Merchant in 2026 after 10 years at Hamilton Lane, where she led global external communications. Previously, she held a corporate communications role at Broadridge Financial Solutions and began her career in public relations in Washington, D.C., and New York.

She has a B.A. in English-Journalism from Fairfield University.
