Manu Rao

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Manu Rao is a Managing Director at Merchant Credit Partners, where his main responsibilities are to assist in the origination and structuring of credit solutions and working with the existing borrower base to create value through the MCP network. Previously Manu was a high yield research analyst covering the financial services sector at CIFC Asset Management. Prior to that, Manu was a Senior Associate at LBC Credit Partners, where he was involved in the underwriting and structuring of more than $300 million in loans to lower middle market companies across a wide variety of industries. Manu has also held positions as a credit research analyst with THL Credit and Northwestern Mutual Capital, covering investment grade, high yield, and distressed corporate credit.

Manu received his Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington.
