Rich Policastro

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Rich Policastro is a Managing Director at Merchant, responsible for managing and deepening relationships with the firm’s key service providers. He plays a central role in connecting Merchant partner firms to critical capabilities across the ecosystem, ensuring services are aligned, accessible, and integrated to support long-term growth and operational excellence.

Prior to Merchant, Rich served as Executive Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Hightower Advisors, where he helped play a pivotal role in securing multiple acquisition deals, contributing to the firm’s annual M&A goal. Previously, as President of Round Table Wealth Management, a New Jersey-based RIA, he led the firm to greater efficiency, talent development, and revenue and EBITDA growth, ultimately positioning the firm for a successful sale.

Rich’s extensive experience and leadership background include senior management roles within the RIA custody & clearing business, including Schwab Advisor Services and Fidelity Institutional, where he managed large territories, spearheaded relationship management and business development strategies, and mentored high-performing teams.

Rich holds a B.S. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and maintains NASD Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses.
