Ann Marie Gorden

VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Ann Marie Gorden is a Vice President at Merchant, where she leads internal and external communications in support of the firm’s growth and long-term vision. She partners closely with leadership and Merchant partner firms to ensure the firm’s messaging reflects its strategy, values, and role as a long-term partner to independent firms.

Prior to joining Merchant, Ann Marie served as the Public Affairs Officer for the U.S. Coast Guard in New York City. In that role, she led communications in support of the Captain of the Port of New York and New Jersey, advancing the Coast Guard’s mission to promote a safe, secure, and prosperous maritime environment.

Ann Marie also served as a Public Affairs Specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve from 2007 to 2016. In May 2010, Ann Marie was deployed to Grand Isle, La., in support of the U.S. Coast Guard’s response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

She is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia with a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Journalism.
