Claire Murphy

PRINCIPAL

Claire Murphy is a Principal at Merchant, supporting underwriting and portfolio management. She supports the full underwriting process and works with partner firms on M&A modeling, structuring, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Merchant, Claire was an Investment Banking analyst at Houlihan Lokey in the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Group. Her responsibilities included sellside and buyside M&A advisory, financing, valuation, and strategic advisory engagements.

She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she graduated with Honors.
