Nikita Fomin

MANAGING DIRECTOR MERCHANT CREDIT PARTNERS

Nikita is a Managing Director at Merchant Credit Partners, responsible for the general direction and growth of Merchant’s credit strategy.  He is focused on deal sourcing and execution, portfolio management and the broader risk management of the firm.

Before Merchant, Nikita spent 4 years at TD Bank's Energy Corporate Banking division. During his time at TD, he was involved with a number of marquee transactions in the utilities industry, primarily responsible for underwriting various loan structures and performing ongoing portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining TD, Nikita was an Analyst with the Corporate & Investment Banking division of UniCredit. In this role, he supported the senior credit team and covered U.S. middle market corporates across a diverse range of industries. 

Nikita graduated with a BA in Finance from The George Washington Univ
